Hewther, this book is a fast read and it really is helpful for those working with students and children. This book combines the fundamental principles of attachment theory with teacher-based case studies, and practical ‘how to’ interventions.

A very good reference book. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Thanks for telling us about the problem. Easy to understand with some clear strategies to support and intervene with attachment disorders in students. I would have liked to read less about the theory itself and more about how to actually deal with these children.

Of course, some were interesting and helpful, but I do think that others could have been cut out to make room for more tips and maybe even stories about how teachers handled the students with disruptive patterns.
